Things I Learned From Moving In With My Boyfriend: Target Furniture Edition
It’s hard to put their furniture together. Man. I was ready to send it back. We’d gone this long without a table and chairs, might as well wait another week or whatever. Winston banged the hammer against the table and I decided it shouldn’t be this hard. I grabbed the packing slip with information on how to make returns and sat at the desk chair with my hand on my magic trackpad. *BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*
“Just give me another half hour,” he said.
And when the legs went back on, I put the packing slip down, pulled out an allen wrench and got to work. A little snag and I was ready to pull out. A little snag and he’s ready to keep going. That probably says something about our personalities and our relationship and who’s the stronger of the two but I won’t read too much into it.
An hour and a half later, we’ve got a dining set and it looks pretty good.
something’s telling me i need to have bottles. all kinds of bottles. big ones. small ones. round ones. square ones. (via Corked Glass Bottles - Specialty Bottle)
